WHO WE ARE...

The CBUS HBCU Ambassador Initiative is a leadership development experience for current HBCU students. The goals are three-fold:

  • RECRUIT: To empower current HBCU students to lead recruitment efforts with K-12 students to consider HBCUs as a viable and promising college option.
  • RETAIN: To provide leadership development workshops and experiences and pair current HBCU students with mentors in their fields to support successful matriculation through college and into their next level (graduate school, medical school, law school, career etc.).
  • RECOGNIZE: To recognize the accomplishments of current HBCU students and alumni by celebrating their success across multiple platforms.
